HUD Announcement: 90 Day Flipping Rule Waived!
Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 02:13PM HUD announced yesterday, January 15, 2010, that starting February 1, 2010 they will waive the 90 day flipping rule!
HUD will now allow for a property that is being flipped in less than 90 days to secure FHA financing!
There are certain guidelines that must be met. The biggest one is any property being flipped must be marketed openly and fairly, MLS (good news for you guys), auction, FSBO, or developer marketing.
The property being sold must meet the "arms length" transaction rules.
